ANESTHESIA SERVICES Some patients who receive care at The Center require anesthesia services. Anesthesia services at The Center are provided by Schenectady Anesthesia Associates, P.C. If anesthesia services are required, there will be separate billing for the anesthesia services. Anesthesia services are considered a professional service and are covered under the medical portion of health insurance plans. If you receive anesthesia services related to your gastroenterology procedure you will receive a bill from Allied Digestive Health. If you receive anesthesia services related to your surgery you will receive a bill directly from Schenectady Anesthesia Associates, PC. In addition, there is always a separate bill from your gastroenterologist or surgeon. Diligent efforts are made to have both Schenectady Anesthesia Associates, P.C., and Allied Digestive Health participate with the same insurance companies in which The Center participates. However, there may be instances in which all three facilities are not yet participating with all the same insurance companies.
